School Chaplaincy Program
In cooperation with YouthCARE, Vose is involved in an exciting venture to better equip chaplains, offering fully accredited courses of the Australian College of Theology. They are designed to be taken part-time on the job or full-time.
Since mid-2007 July, Vose is offering new units specifically designed for school chaplaincy, coordinated by Revd. John Clapton:
-
Ministry Formation for Educational Chaplaincy is the induction into school chaplaincy and will be offered as an intensive: in 2008 there are two options: (1) 5-7 May, 7-8 July or (2) 28-30 July, 9-10 October
-
Chaplaincy in an Educational Setting will next be offered in 2009.
These, combined with biblical and theological studies, units in youth or children's ministry, and supervised field education in schools, provide well-rounded accredited and internationally recognised programs of study.
