Melanie has been employed at Vose since 2005 and has a passion for excellence in management. She loves being part of a team and is looking forward to what the future holds for Vose. Melanie is married to David with two children and they enjoy going to the movies and being part of their local church.

Andrea Thomas Andrea Thomas

Administrative Assistant

Andrea commenced work as the Administrative Assistant in June 2008. The role covers a wide variety of administration and reception tasks, presents interesting challenges and is rarely dull! It is a great way to meet the many people who are involved with or visit Vose.

Andrea is married to Peter, and they have three teenage children. Originally from the UK, Peter's work in the oil industry has taken them to postings in the Netherlands, Oman and Brunei, where Andrea has been involved in many voluntary organizations and been a full-time mum. The family have been in Perth for nine years now and are active members of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Andrea enjoys tennis, hiking, running, gardening and patchwork quilting.

Elaine Olley

Chaplain

BSW Curtin, MSW UWA

After missionary service in Hong Kong, Elaine studied Social Work. She worked in developing a combined churches community agency and then in consultancy and policy development at both state and national levels. She has published articles in this area and recently researched and published a biography of her father who pastored rural churches in NSW. She has a passion to see people of all backgrounds free to develop their full potential, working together with others towards a just society. With three married children and seven grandchildren, Elaine and John enjoy time with them all, experiencing their unique giftings.

Don Mitchell

Caretaker

Don has been the resident caretaker since March 2004. Always cheerful and ready to lend a hand, you will see Don around campus, taking care of us all. Don and his wife Dina-Marie attend South Perth Baptist Church.
